About Us

Chandler Lyon began working on C.E.L.L. Ltd. Co. when he was just 13 years old. His career as a chemist began in a high school lab where he was permitted to experiment on carbon sequestration technology – an opportunity that ignited his passion for chemistry. In high school, he would tutor students from both his local high school, and from his local university in topics such as math, chemistry, and English.  After discovering his passion for science and academia, he began honing his skills in and out of chemistry laboratories across California and New Mexico.  

Driven by his belief that science should be accessible to everyone, he began his company in 2016 with the mission of making education and science more widely available and affordable. However, a life-changing event occurred in 2020 that would reshape both his career and his purpose. 

In 2020, Chandler was working in a laboratory processing cyanide waste. One of the vessels he was using was poorly manufactured and had an air bubble in it that caused the vessel to burst, sending potassium cyanide powder into the air. The powder entered the faulty respirator he was wearing at the time, where it remained trapped until he was able to remove it. This incident left him with permanent nerve damage as a result, though he fortunately survived the experience. 

After the injury, Chandler Lyon shifted the focus of C.E.L.L. Ltd. Co. to focus primarily on laboratory safety equipment. As a result, he invented a new type of lab coat technology which he named Lumek™.  His work is now centered on promoting rigorous safety standards and ensuring that protection is not a luxury, but a fundamental priority.

In his free time, Chandler can often be found working on future projects, tinkering in the laboratory, or writing articles for The Daily Hazard. His goal ultimately is to become an astronaut- broadening his impact in science and safety on a global scale.
